EARLY LIFE
Jacob was born on 22nd August 1997. He was raised in Ripon, North Yorkshire, and attributes his creativity and activism to an upbringing amongst the Dales. He attended St.Aidan's C of E High School in Harrogate.

ACTING
Jacob is best known for his roles in international hit TV series such as Netflix's The Last Kingdom, The Stranger, Medici: The Magnificent, FATE: The Winx Saga and The A List.
In the audio world, he is known as "one of the UK's most prolific voice actors" (- The Gentleman's Journal).
He played the titular character in the Doctor Who Audio Range, starring alongside the likes of Sir Derek Jacobi, Kate Winslet and David Tennant. He also led an episode of the Emmy-winning Primal (HBO), and starred as one of the leads in Adult Swim's Unicorn:Warriors Eternal.

He can soon be seen starring alongside Ralph Fiennes in the 2025 Sony Pictures release 'The Choral', written by Alan Bennett and directed by Nicholas Hytner, which will premiere at Toronto International Film Festival later this year.

FILM-MAKING
​Jacob is known for his award-winning short films and digital releases, including works with the BBC and Lionsgate. His first short Save The Rhino Vietnam aired on TV at age 19 while he was still studying at the University of the Arts. WWF called it ‘heart-warming’, whilst famed director Eric Goode (Tiger King) quoted “everyone needs to watch this”. As a teenager, his comedy sketches amassed a viewership of over 8.6 million, and his work was featured on the likes of the RadioTimes, The Dodo and BBC America to name a few.
His most recent project, Finger Food, was internationally acclaimed — qualifying for the Academy Awards, BAFTAs, and BIFAs, earning multiple awards, and receiving a 5-star review from UK Film Review.
